URGENT NOTICE FOR ALL DIETETICS PROFESSIONALS: The Board of Dietetic Certification (BDC) has been discontinued. All certification authority has been transferred to the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).

Subject: Transition of Dietetic Certification Authority from BDC to AHPC

This is to formally notify all stakeholders that Pakistan Food and Nutrition Organization (PFNO) has discontinued the operations of its Board of Dietetic Certification (BDC) with immediate effect.

Background: The Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC), established by the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination, Government of Pakistan, has now officially commenced its operations as the statutory regulatory body for Human Nutrition and Dietetics professionals.

AHPC will now oversee all matters pertaining to:

  • Registration and certification of dietitians
  • Accreditation of educational programs
  • Professional standards and ethics
  • Continuing education requirements

Immediate Effect:

1. All BDC operations have ceased as of the date of this notice.

2. AHPC has assumed full jurisdiction over dietetic certification.

3. BDC's verification portal remains temporarily accessible for historical records.

4. All practitioners must now register with AHPC for current certifications.
