The Board of Dietetic Certification (BDC) welcomes feedback about its exams, its decisions and the use of its credential. This page explains how to raise a complaint or ask BDC to look at a decision again.
What you can raise
- Exam administration: problems with registration, the admission slip, the exam session or the results.
- A BDC decision: an eligibility, result or renewal decision that affects you.
- Misuse of the credential: someone claiming a BDC credential they do not hold, or using the BDC name or logo without permission.
How to submit
Email support@pfno.org with the subject line BDC Complaint or BDC Appeal. Please include:
- your name and contact details;
- your registration or certificate number, if you have one;
- a clear description of the issue and what outcome you are asking for;
- any supporting documents or screenshots.
Appealing a decision
If you disagree with a BDC decision, send an email with the subject line BDC Appeal. State which decision you are appealing and why you think it should change, and attach any new information.
What happens next
BDC reviews the matter and replies to you in writing.
Confidentiality
Complaints and appeals are treated as confidential. They are shared only with the people who need the information to review the matter, or where the law requires. See the Privacy Policy.
